There is scholarly consensus on the fact that Nation of Islam would not have achieved its level of success and popularity it came to enjoy if it wasn’t for Malcolm. This is a two-way bridge, since if it wasn’t for Elijah Muhammad and Nation of Islam, Malcolm would not have probably achieved his intellectual and social awareness and commitment.
